A Simple Introduction

First thing's first I'd like to say Welcome to my blog and I'm glad you've found your way here whether it be a friend sent you, your mom sent you, you happened to stumble upon it or your dog hit the mouse and clicked it by accident but fear not, there's no reason to leave. My name is Christopher, Chris for short, and this is my blog "It's a Man's Man World". You're first instinct is to probably ask what the HELL is with the title of this blog and my answer is, it's simply a play on words. People like to say they are a "one woman man" or a "woman's man" or a "man's woman" well being that this is my blog and I am of the gay community making myself a "man's man" I decided to play on it and title the blog "It's A Man's Man World". Take it or leave it, you're already here right ? :)

A little about me? I grew up on the Lower East Side and now live out my days in Harlem. I live with my mother and my dog Cody, aka Noodles. I graduated from one of the top high schools in Manhattan and now attend Laguardia Community College, I know, I know you're probably like, what ? one of the top high schools in Manhattan and now going to a community college? Well let's just leave it at this...shit happens. Anyway I am currently studying Liberal Arts where I plan to go off to a 4 year school and finish out my degree there, most likely in English being that my dream is to be a writer. I started out with a love and passion for acting but that was put on hold for a bit, don't get me wrong, the love is still there, it's just I've realized my true gift is writing. I am 19 years old, single and gay and currently writing freelance for EDGE NY which is a gay online publication. I am there new theater critic (which are also posts I will post up, my reviews and such). Hmm that was pretty straight forward now wasn't it?

Now let's move onto what this blog is about. I decided to start this blog due to my high obsession with Sex and the City , yes I said it, SATC, I know right how gay? Haha anyway! Yes I became seriously in tune with Carrie Bradshaw and her amazing fashion sense, witty banter and crazy sex life. This became to topic of my Human Sexuality class essay about myself in which I titled it Sex IN The City, I'm such a sucker for play on words. Moving right along, I took a true interest in this character and felt connected in a way to her. She longed for love, she was a writer, she loved her city of New York (in which I do as well that is when I'm not running to work in Times Square and can't even get past a group of people staring at the SAME building) and she had amazing friends around her. So let's just cut this short, the purpose of this blog is to give you an insight into my personal life, there are NO barriers here, and I shall voice what I would like to voice about. There will be posts about love and sex (the main posts) and then there will be little posts here and there with other types of information as well such as inspirational posts, advice posts and whatever else I feel like posting really.
